Shadow of a manThe man was tall, taller than anyone else around him by at least a head, his height towering over them. And yet, perhaps because of his slender build, he couldn’t help but walk with a broken ease, stopping whenever someone cut into his way, waiting for people to pass, barely pushing through the crowd, and this being pushed aside, using every so often a silver cane he carried to keep himself from falling.
